Police Seek Man Suspected of Vandalizing Massachusetts State House, Private Home

State police said much of the graffiti consisted of words "expressing strong political beliefs"

Massachusetts State Police have released surveillance images of a man suspected of vandalizing the exterior of the State House as well as a private residence early Sunday morning.

Authorities said the graffiti was discovered on two corners of the State House, at a Department of Conservation and Recreation guard building, a private residence on the corner of Mount Vernon and Hancock Streets, and on the Fiedler Foot Bridge.

Much of the graffiti consisted of words "expressing strong political beliefs".

Police say the vandalism was likely done by the same suspect who tagged the State House, other buildings, and a car in the same area earlier this winter.

Anyone with information on the suspect in the images is urged to contact Massachusetts State Police at 617-740-7812.
