Police have found a 16-year-old girl from Cambridge, Massachusetts, who had been missing since Monday night.
Cambridge police tweeted Wednesday night that Hermela Aklilu had been found. They thanked everyone for sharing their posts and contacting them with information.
They also thanked the officers who worked tirelessly to find Aklilu, who had last been seen Monday at her home on Walden Square Road.

Later Monday, around 7:30 p.m., she appeared on video surveillance near the Porter Square MBTA station.
Family and friends had been in contact with police and believed she may have been in danger.
Aklilu was described as being about five feet tall and 140 pounds. She has long, braided black hair, brown eyes and braces. She speaks English and Amharic.
