A 15-year-old boy has been found safe after walking away from a group home Thursday in Methuen, Massachusetts.
The Massachusetts State Police Air Wing unit was assisting in the search for 15-year-old John Zell over the area of Lowell Street and Richard Avenue. Police confirmed shortly before 10 p.m. that the teen had been found.
Zell is not from the area, and police believed his cellphone battery was dead.
Methuen Police expressed gratitude to everyone who helped spread word of the search.
