Police: Woman Found Dead Near Salvation Army Bins in Worcester Was Not Homicide Victim

A woman found dead near Salvation Army donation bins last month in Worcester, Massachusetts, was not a victim of a homicide, authorities have determined.

The woman's body was found near the bin at 72 Cambridge St. on the morning of Jan. 7. Tuesday, police said that the death did not appear to be a homicide following an initial report from the medical examiner.

The week the woman was found, an autopsy was performed, but the results were inconclusive.

Tuesday, police said the official cause and manner of death had still not been determined.

The case remains under investigation.
