Powerful Wind Gusts Breeze Through New England This Morning

A combination of a warm front and cold front generated showers and warmer weather Monday night, along with powerful wind gusts.

We start the day with a powerful storm in southern Canada along with wind still gusting past 30 mph, diminishing during the afternoon. With much drier air moving in, we get plenty of sunshine and highs near 50 north and 60 south.

It will be cool and dry overnight. Then another colder front will slide south from Canada Wednesday afternoon with a few rain showers, changing to snow showers in the mountains.

Thursday brings sunshine and the coldest air of the season circulating from Hudson Bay to New England. Highs on Thursday only in the 30s north and 50s south. This may also spell multiple frosts – or even freezes - by week’s end, indicating an end to the growing season.

Our Exclusive 10-day forecast shows a below average week with another series of fronts (possible rain) this weekend.
