Transition back to colder weather is underway.
A few elevated locations in southern and central New England reported an inch of snow earlier in the day, the ski ares had a few inches, but most of us experienced wet roads with either some snow and rain. Most of that weather has moved off with mostly cloudy skies this afternoon, high temperature in the 40s south to 30s north.
Partial clearing overnight with a bit of patchy black ice, patchy fog, and frost. Low temperature overnight near freezing.
A cold front traverses the region tomorrow, with many clouds but remaining mostly dry, outside of a few mountain snow showers. High temperature tomorrow in the 30s north and west to 40s south and east. Wind increasing from the northwest 15 - 20 miles per hour late in the day.

Friday and Saturday look bright and brisk with the flow from Canada, high temperatures only around freezing and low temperatures at night in the teens south and single numbers north, wind from the Northwest gusting past 25 mph through Saturday morning.

Snow, possibly mixed with rain at the shore, is likely Sunday night into early Monday, it may be the first plow-able snowfall of the season for parts of southern New England.
Monday looks windy and cold with a high temperature near freezing. A front stalled south of New England keeps us cold with active weather most of next week with chances for snow, or snow and rain, about every 36 hours. Temperatures running below normal next week. It appears we are going to be very wintry starting tomorrow through the 10 day forecast period.
