Rainy Saturday Won’t Be A Complete Washout

Temperatures are starting out in the 40s and 50s north to near 60 degrees south for our Saturday.

Rain advances from southwest to northeast during the day, with possible heavy downpours in a few locations especially late morning through early afternoon and southern and central New England.

Where it is raining, temperatures are hard pressed to get much above 60 degrees, while farther north where we have some sunshine near the Canadian border, high temperature will be in the 70s.

Rain will let up later today, with fog and drizzle forming especially along the coast as a warm front comes up to southern New England by Sunday morning. That front should lift into central New England with a little wave of low pressure riding eastward across Central New England. That means tomorrow is changing from gray and cool early to a mixture of sun and clouds. Expect warm to hot and humid conditions by mid Sunday for central and southern New England.

Where the sun comes out we may hit 85 degrees with a chance of showers and thunderstorms Sunday afternoon.

In far northern New England we will stay on the cooler side of the front with gray skies fog and drizzle, with showers and a high temperature in the 60s.
