Rattlesnake Bar & Grill in Boston's Back Bay Is Closing

An iconic restaurant and bar in Boston's Back Bay is going to be closing its doors for good.

The Boston Globe is reporting that the Rattlesnake Bar & Grill on Boylston Street is going to be shutting down, though no closing date has been given as of yet and no reason was given for its closure. The dining and drinking spot - which is also known as Poe's Kitchen at the Rattlesnake - has been a popular hangout for food and drink since opening more than a quarter century ago, with the food options becoming much more inventive and eclectic when chef Brian Poe took charge of the menu over recent times.

Poe is also involved with the Tip Tap Room in Beacon Hill and Bukowski Tavern in the Back Bay and Cambridge's Inman Square.

The address for the Rattlesnake Bar & Grill is 384 Boylston Street, Boston, MA, 02116.
