President Donald Trump issued a statement Saturday morning after NBC News and other national media outlets projected former Vice President Joe Biden as the winner of the 2020 presidential election.
According to NBC News, Trump was golfing when the news broke.
In his statement, Trump said Biden is "rushing to falsely pose as the winner," and promised to fight the election results in court beginning Monday.
