Baseball returned to Boston on Friday, with Fenway Park packed with fans for a home opener that looked much different than the last two seasons.
The Red Sox fell 8-4 to the Minnesota Twins Friday, the first of a four-game series.
The home opener was initially slated to be held on March 31, but was rescheduled due to the since-ended labor dispute. The new date falls on the 75th anniversary of Jackie Robinson's Major League Baseball debut and also One Boston Day, the ninth anniversary of the Boston Marathon bombings.
