Rewild (America's First Plant-Based Beer Hall) to Open in Quincy Center

by Marc Hurwitz

A new beer hall and cafe is coming to a downtown area just south of Boston that is going through major development, and it will apparently be the first one of its kind in the United States.

According to a source, Rewild is planning to open in Quincy Center in the former Iron Furnace space, with its website saying that the Hancock Street spot will be "America's first fully plant-based beer hall & cafe." The dining and drinking place, which will be located across the street from Alba restaurant and the upcoming Nova Residences, includes business partners who have been involved with Barrel House Z brewery and taproom in Weymouth and by CHLOE (a fast-casual vegan eatery) in Boston's Seaport District.

If all goes as planned, Rewild will open its doors sometime this spring.

The address for this upcoming vegan beer hall and cafe is: Rewild, 1495 Hancock Street, Quincy, MA, 02169. Its website can be found at https://eatrewild.com
