A Rhode Island woman has died following a two-vehicle collision in Massachusetts.
WJAR-TV reports that 81-year-old Claudette Desilets was pronounced dead at Rhode Island Hospital after her 1999 Toyota Carolla collided with a dump truck Friday at the intersection of U.S. Route 6 and Maple Avenue in Swansea.
Desilets was a resident of Tiverton, Rhode Island.
Traffic was diverted for two hours following the crash, which occurred around 11 a.m. Friday.
The incident remains under investigation and no charges have been filed.
