Police: NH Roll Over Crash Results in OUI Arrest

A man was arrested and charged with operating under the influence of liquor.

Police in Manchester, New Hampshire responded to a roll over crash on Bridge Street near Belmont Street at 12:30 a.m. Sunday.

According to police, officers spoke with Mark Belair, 54, of Manchester and determined he was the driver of the vehicle.

Belair allegedly failed to yield at a posted stop sign while traveling north on Belmont Street, causing a crash involving his truck and a 2008 Hyundai, police said. The driver of the other car was identified as Danielle Dalton, 28, of Manchester.

According to police, Dalton was traveling east on Bridge Street when she made impact with Belair's Dodge truck. The impact caused the truck to roll over and land on the lawn of 390 Bridge Street.

Belair sustained injuries to his hand and was transported to an area hospital, police said.

Dalton also sustained non-life threatening injuries.

According to police, investigators determined that Belair was intoxicated at the time of the crash.

He has been charged with operating under the influence of liquor, driving after suspension/revocation and false report an an accident.

Belair is scheduled to appear in Hillsborough County Superior Court-North on Monday.

It is unclear if he has an attorney.
