Two men were shot Thursday night in Nashua, New Hampshire, and police there say they have the person responsible in custody.
Officers responded just before 9 p.m. Thursday to a shooting around Pine and Kinsley Street, where they found two men with gunshot wounds, according to a news release from the Nashua Police Department.

The two men wounded were taken to a local hospital, and one of them was later transported to a Boston area hospital, police said. They are listed in stable, but critical condition.
An altercation happened near Pine Street at Lemoine Street before the shooting, detectives learned. Police say the person responsible for the shooting is in custody and there is not a danger to the public.

Wilfredo Diaz, 27, of Nashua, has been identified by police as the suspect.
