A man was shot in Malden on Sunday after being pursued by a disguised shooter, said police.
Police say that around 2:45 p.m., they received reports of "shots fired" near 421 Main St.

According to multiple witnesses, an individual disguised in a hood and ski mask walked into the municipal parking lot, and began pursuing a victim as he was leaving a restaurant, and heading to his car.
The suspect then fired four to five shots at the victim, who was successfully hit at least once, said police.

After being shot, police say the victim escaped and admitted himself to a hospital for his injuries, which are not life-threatening.
Police have not caught the suspect, and are investigating the incident.
