Showers Out of Region But Gloom Sticking Around

Most of the heavy rain fell in southern New England Tuesday and parts of Connecticut received over an inch. The good thing is -- we won't have to worry about that much on Wednesday.

Although it will be drier, it won’t necessarily be sunny. Clouds will win out across much of the northeast. Temperatures will range from the 60s along the coast to 80 degrees in far northern New England.

Rain returns Thursday and Friday and it could be quite heavy. An additional 1-to-2-inches of rain is possible. Conditions will improve by Friday afternoon, however.

Temperatures will range from the low-to-mid 70s on the first day of summer.

The weekend is looking fantastic. If Boston stays dry, it will be the second dry weekend since St. Patrick’s Day weekend. Temperatures will reach the low 80s both days.

Next week looks warm and humid. Temperatures will range from the upper 70s into the low 80s. Showers and thunderstorms will be possible at any time.

Stay tuned!
