Small Earthquake Rattles New Hampshire

A small earthquake rattled parts of Central New Hampshire Friday night.

The M2.3 quake was recorded at 9:23 p.m., according to the United States Geological Survey. The USGS said the epicenter was around Boscawen, near the interchange of Interstates 89 and 93.

Residents reported light shaking in nearby communities including Canterbury, Concord, Loudon, Bow and Henniker.
