
A small fire broke out at a Moderna plant Wednesday morning in Norwood, Massachusetts.
The Norwood Fire Department was on scene at Moderna's Technology Center East building on Investors Way around 6 a.m. Wednesday. The building is currently under construction and is not used for vaccine manufacturing or distribution, officials said.
Fire crews quickly contained the flames, which were confined to some duct work and materials on the roof.
The fire was largely knocked down by 8 a.m. Norwood fire said crews were opening up the building and checking for any extension.

No injuries were reported and the scene was cleared by 8:30 a.m.
The fire remains under investigation by Norwood fire officials, but is believed to be accidental in nature.
