After a glorious Saturday, clouds and showers settle in today.
While it certainly won’t be raining all day in any one city or town, we’ll have waves of wet weather coming through. During the morning, the steadiest showers will fall from western and north central Massachusetts into parts of the Merrimack Valley and southern New Hampshire.
During the afternoon, the steadiest rain will fall in parts of southeastern Massachusetts, especially on the Cape and Islands.

Most spots will pick up 0.25" or less in generally light showers, but a few spots on the Cape and Islands may come closer to 1 inch in the afternoon rain.
Temperatures will hold in the 50s and 60s during the day.
Showers will slowly wind down overnight as skies start to clear from north to south.
That clearing continues into Monday, with plenty of sunshine in place for all of New England by afternoon. It’ll be cool though, courtesy of a north-northeast wind. Expect highs in the 50s at the coast with 60s to near 70 inland.
After that sunshine sticks around for much of the work-week, with highs each day in the 60s and 70s. The trend of being coolest at the coast and warmest inland will also continue.
