Sunny Stretch Extends Into Weekend

A beautiful stretch of weather continues not just through the end of this week, but into the weekend as well.

Temperatures today will be in the 70s to around 80 degrees with lots of sunshine. A few fair-weather clouds will bubble up during the afternoon, and there may be a spot shower or downpours over the terrain of northern New England.

Skies will be mostly clear tonight as lows drop into the 50s and 60s. It will be beautiful as the Red Sox kick off their series against the Yankees.

Friday brings more of the same, with lots of sun and light winds. A slight seabreeze will keep temperatures in the 70s to around 80 at the coast, while we pop well into the 80s inland.

The vast majority of us will stay totally dry all weekend as sunshine continues to rule our weather. There may be one or two spot showers or storms that crop up during the afternoon, but that is certainly the exception rather than the rule. Outdoor plans still look great. It does turn a bit more humid this weekend, with more 80s as well.

Monday is hot and humid with highs near 90, and then it turns more unsettled during the middle and end of the week. At that point expect more numerous rounds of showers, downpours, and thunderstorms. Those days won’t be washouts, but rain chances will certainly increase as compared to this nice dry stretch we have this week.
