SWAT Incident in Hingham Ends in Suicide

An incident in Hingham, Massachusetts ended in a man's apparent suicide on Sunday morning, according to local authorities.

Hingham Police originally tweeted from a verified account that units "remained on the scene" with a distraught person barricaded in his residence at 4 Edgar Walker Court, of the Conservatory Park area in Hingham, around 6 a.m. on Sunday.

Police asked neighbors on Edgar Walker Court to remain indoors due to SWAT and K9 presence during that time.

Shortly after 7 a.m., police reported that the incident had conlcuded. The barricaded man was found dead of a gunshot wound.
