Tatte Closes Its Broadway Location in Cambridge’s Kendall Square

A rapidly-growing local group of bakeries and cafes has closed one of its first locations.

According to a source, Tatte on Broadway in Cambridge's Kendall Square area is no longer in business, with a post on the company's site confirming this, saying the following:

Tatte Broadway was first born out of a need for a space to support our wholesale business, we simply needed 4 walls to pack and ship our products across the country....After only one season they asked us to convert it into a Tatte Cafe and to provide the neighborhood and office tenants a place to gather around great coffee and food and so we did with their full support. 7 years later, our lease is ending and we've made the difficult decision to not continue in this space."

Other locations of Tatte remain in operation, including two in Kendall Square along with a number of others in Cambridge, Boston, and Brookline.
