Woman Assaulted, Another Robbed by Group of Teens on Bikes in Brookline Park

A woman was assaulted and  another robbed Sunday by a group of teenage boys riding bicycles at a park in Brookline, Massachusetts, according to police, who are searching for the teens.

Brookline police said the woman was jogging on a path at the Emerald Necklace park system — they didn't say where in the miles-long system of parks — when the alleged assault happened.

One teen allegedly slapped the woman on her buttocks while the group of four or five kept going.

Further down the path, another woman was accosted by the group, police said. One of the boys distracted her by waving his hands in front of her face while another stole her cell phone.

The teens, who ranged in age from about 12 to 15, took off.

Anyone with information is urged to contact Brookline police.
