Tender Greens to Open at Copley Place

by Marc Hurwitz

A California-based group of restaurants that is getting ready to open its first Boston-area location will be opening another shop in one of the busiest sections of the city.

According to an article from Eater Boston, Tender Greens is planning to open at Copley Place in Boston's Back Bay neighborhood, with a page on the Copley Place website indicating that it will be located on the ground floor near Back Bay Station. Once it opens (it is scheduled to debut in August), the new eatery will join a location at The Street in Chestnut Hill, with that one looking to open next month. For both locations, expect such options as soups, salads, sandwiches, and meals with a small salad and a side of vegetables.

As mentioned earlier, one of the investors in the chain is Danny Meyer, whose New York-based Union Square Hospitality Group operates the Shake Shack restaurants.
