The Blue Ox in Lynn to Be Joined by Second Restaurant in Salem

The person behind a modern American bistro on the North Shore is getting ready to open a second restaurant.

According to a job post within the bostonchefs.com site, The Blue Ox in Lynn will soon be joined by a "second concept" in Salem and is now looking for a host/hostess, confirming what we heard from a few people over the past several months that chef/owner Matt O'Neil is indeed bringing a new dining spot to the city. The new restaurant--which does not appear to have a name as of yet and may not actually be a second location of The Blue Ox--will be opening on Washington Street in the downtown area of Salem, just south of the Essex Street intersection.

The address for The Blue Ox in Lynn is 191 Oxford Street, Lynn, MA, 01901.
