The Cottage in Chestnut Hill Has Closed

by Marc Hurwitz

A trio of restaurants featuring California-style cuisine is now down to just two--and only one in the Greater Boston area.

According to a source, The Cottage in Chestnut Hill has closed after approximately seven years in business, with a Facebook post from the place referring customers to their Wellesley location where they can also redeem any gift cards. The post also states that "As they say, when one door closes, another opens. Stay tuned for what's next!" so they may be looking to open a new dining spot. (As soon as we find out more, we will post an update here.)

In addition to the Wellesley and now-closed Chestnut Hill locations, another outlet of The Cottage can be found in La Jolla, CA, and the people behind The Cottage restaurants also run The Poynt and Brick & Ash, both of which are in Newburyport.

The address for The Cottage in Chestnut Hill was 47 Boylston Street, Chestnut Hill, MA, 02467. The website for the Wellesley location can be found at: https://www.cottagewellesley.com/
