Three Seriously Injured in Newbury Crash

Three people were taken to the hospital with serious injuries after a two-car crash in Newbury, Massachusetts on Saturday afternoon.

Newbury Fire responded to 101 High Road for a report of a crash just after 4 p.m.

Upon arrival, first responders observed that a Fiat 500 and a Chevy Impala, both with front end damage, appeared to have collided head-on.

Newbury Police and Atlantic Ambulance also responded to the scene, Newbury Fire said.

According to Newbury Fire, as a result of the crash, the two occupants of the Chevy and the sole occupant of the Fiat were transported to an area hospital with serious injuries.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation by the the Newbury Fire and Police Departments.
