Tony C's Replaces Jerry Remy's in Boston's Seaport District

Earlier this year, we reported that a restaurant and sports bar named after a well-known sports figure was planning to open in Boston's Seaport District, and now we have learned that it has arrived--and it replaces another dining and drinking spot named after another well-known sports figure.

According the locations page within its website, Tony C's is now open in the space where Jerry Remy's has been, and it appears that the ownership remains the same (the Cronin Group--which owned this location of Jerry Remy's--is behind other locations of Tony C's in the Boston area). Back in April, it was mentioned that Tony C's had taken over the space in the Fenway where another Jerry Remy's had been, and it was also learned that Tony C's had been planning to expand to the Seaport District as well, though we were unable to confirm at the time that it would be moving into the Jerry Remy's location.

Currently, locations of Tony C's can be found in the Fenway, Somerville, and Burlington, while the only remaining location of Jerry Remy's is an independently-operated outlet in Fall River.

The address for the new Tony C's in the Seaport District is 250 Northern Avenue, Boston, MA, 02210. The website for all locations of Tony C's can be found at https://www.tonycssportsbar.com/
