Two people were arrested for allegedly shoplifting at a Walmart in Wareham, Massachusetts on Tuesday.
Officers were dispatched to the store around 10 p.m., where they discovered 33-year-old Jason Willoughby and 25-year-old Heather Murphy preparing to leave the store. After approaching the pair, Murphy opened a handbag and began handing back clothes that she attempted to steal, telling the officers that she needed them for a court appearance on Wednesday.
Willoughby was found to have shoes stuffed in his pants, with other stolen items already located in their car.
Both Murphy and Willoughby are due in Wareham District Court on Wednesday.
