UPPAbaby has recalled 71,000 strollers and seats because children are able to bite off a piece of the stroller's foam bumper bar, which creates a choking hazard, according to federal regulators.
The recall covers 2015 versions of the Cruz and Vista model strollers and RumbleSeats.
UPPAbaby has received 22 reports of children biting off pieces of the bumper bar in front of the seat, although no injuries have been reported, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission said.
Consumers should remove the bumper bar and contact UPPAbaby to get a free cover for the bar and a warning label, according to the CPSC.
The Cruz and Vista strollers have gray or black frames, black fabric seats, a colored fabric canopy and a black basket under the seat.
The RumbleSeat is a separate seat that can be attached to the frame of a stroller.
The products were sold at BuyBuy Baby and other retailers and through Amazon.com from December 2014 until this month. The Cruz stroller costs about $500, while the Vista costs around $860 and the RumbleSeat costs about $170.
