‘This Is Too Long': Vigil Held for Missing Massachusetts Woman

Sandra Crispo, 54, of Hanson, has been missing since August 7

The friends and family of a missing Massachusetts woman want answers.

Sandra Crispo has been missing since August 7. While police did not initially suspect foul play, Crispo's family isn't convinced.

A vigil, organized by Crispo's daughter, was held Saturday in her honor.

"Everyone deserves to be found, and I hope they find her," said friend Peggy Simone, who wants to make sure no one forgets Crispo. "This could be anyone's mother, sister, friend, cousin. You just don't go missing like this."

According to police, the 54-year-old grandmother was dropped off at her home in Hanson by a family member on August 7. The next day, Crispo's daughter was unable to reach her.

"All the lights were on, the air conditioner was on, the dog didn't have any food, water," said Crispo's daughter, Laina McMahon, who wants to keep her mom's case in the public.

Crispo's family is convinced something happened to her.

"Horrifying, sad," said Crispo's son-in-law Timothy McMahon. "Sad for my kids who ask everyday about Grannie and when they can go over."

Crispo's family is determined to get answers and finally bring her back home to Hanson.

"This is too long. They've got to find her," Simone said.

According to Crispo's family, they were told just last week that Massachusetts State Police are assisting with the investigation.

Crispo is described as a 5'9" white woman with blue eyes and brown hair. Anyone who has information on her whereabouts is asked to contact state police or Hanson police at 781-293-4625.
