Low pressure passes to our north through southern Canada today, with an attendant cold front entering northern New England during the afternoon.
This pattern means more of a breeze from the southwest, that's the warmer weather direction, allowing us to get to 70° or a little warmer in spots with equal amounts of clouds and sunshine.
But the front also means a chance for a shower and or a thunderstorm, especially in New Hampshire and Maine.
The front weakens considerably as it moves to the South Coast tonight and early Friday. That should leave most of New England with a good amount of sunshine tomorrow with a high temperature closer to 80°.
A wave of low pressure will move along that old stalled front at night and Saturday with clouds moving back into southern New England for most of Saturday. And there's a chance for a bit of light rain from Connecticut to Cape Cod during the day Saturday. Otherwise mostly dry with a high temperature in the 70s.
Sunday may have a few clouds around, but overall looks like a nice day with more clouds than sunshine and a high temperature in the 70s.
