Warren and Diehl Campaign Ahead of Tuesday's Election

In the final days of the campaign, Senator Elizabeth Warren of Massachusetts and State Representative Geoff Diehl spoke to cheering supporters at events across the state.

At an informal meet-and-greet with supporters in downtown Taunton, Diehl, a Republican, attacked his Democratic opponent’s decision to consider a 2020 presidential bid.

“I think the people out there are very aware now of who’s committed to Massachusetts,” he said. “I want to work for Massachusetts for the next six years; I think she clearly wants to run for the White House.”

Warren, who spoke to a crowded campaign office in Worcester Sunday afternoon, said her campaigning is proof that she’s committed to being a senator.

“I’ve done 37 town halls, three debates, I’ve been all over this state, top to bottom, side to side, in to out, because I’m in this fight for working people,” she said.

Both candidates have campaign events scheduled through Election Day on Tuesday.
