Weekend Looking Pleasant for Many

New England will enjoy a blend of sunshine and clouds on Thursday, with high temperatures reaching the 70s in many spots. A few spot showers or passing sprinkles can’t be ruled out, especially over the hilly terrain north and west of Boston.

Friday will actually be a bit warmer, with highs popping into the 70s and 80s across the region. Sunshine will also be more widespread.

The weekend, for the vast majority of New England, continues to look pleasant.

Saturday will be the warmer of the two weekend days with highs in the 70s to near 80. Skies will be bright, but a few extra clouds may drift in late day in far Southern New England.

A band of rain will slide mainly to our south late Saturday into early Sunday. It’s still possible a few showers graze by parts of Connecticut, Rhode Island, or far southern sections of Massachusetts, but it looks like most of this wet weather will miss us.

On Sunday, behind that system, sunshine will be back and temperatures will be a bit cooler. Expect highs mainly in the 60s and 70s.

Next week looks fairly tranquil with highs in the 70s and 80s for many.
