Last summer, it was reported that a Texas-based chain of sandwich shops was planning to open its first location within the Boston city limits. Now we have learned that the place has opened its doors.
According to a source (Sarah Wu) within the Friends of Boston's Hidden Restaurants Facebook group page, Which Wich is now open on Newbury Street in the Back Bay, moving into a space near the corner of Hereford Street. (This has also been confirmed by a Facebook post from the eatery itself.) The new dining spot joins two others in the local area--Somerville's Assembly Row and University Station in Westwood--and it offers a variety of sandwiches including vegetarian and gluten-free options.
