Police Respond to Report of Shots Fired in Wilmington, Massachusetts

No injuries were reported in connection to the shooting

Authorities in Wilmington, Massachusetts are searching for a gunman after they received a report of shots fired overnight.

Police said they responded to the report at about 12:45 a.m. Monday near the intersection of Ring Avenue and Salem Street. At the scene, officers found five shell casings.

Officials then secured the area and deemed it safe.

No injuries or property damage was reported in connection to the shooting, according to officials.

The investigation is ongoing.
