Woman Facing Charges in New Hampshire After Allegedly Leaving Scene of Bike Crash

A California woman is facing felony charges in New Hampshire after allegedly striking a bicyclist in her rental car early Thursday morning.

Elizabeth Hunt, 29, is facing a charge for conduct after an accident after leaving the scene of a collision with the bicyclist at the intersection of Park Avenue and Arch Street in Keene.

At about 12:15 a.m. on Thursday, a New Hampshire state police officer found the male biker lying in the grass to the side of the road. He couldn't recall how he was injured, just that he was leaving work and was on his way home, according to the officer.

Plastic debris from the scene showed a collision involving a car had occurred, and five hours later, Hunt's rental car was located.

She was placed under arrested after further evidence was collected and is set to be arraigned in Cheshire Superior Court on Friday. It's unclear if she has an attorney.

No update was available on the condition of the biker, nor his identity. The case remains under investigation.
