Worcester Authorities Respond to WRTA Bus Stuck in Ditch

Authorities in Worcester, Massachusetts responded to a Worcester Regional Transit Authority bus that somehow got stuck in a ditch Wednesday morning.

Police said the crash happened at 6:09 a.m. in the area of 284 Tacoma St. The bus driver, who has not been identified, was hospitalized as a precaution. It is unclear if they suffered any injuries.

Authorities said they had no reports of passengers on-board at the time of the crash.

The bus was eventually towed and the Worcester Fire Department responded to the scene for a possible gas leak.

It is unclear what led up to the crash.
