Police are investigating a Monday morning crash involving two pedestrians in Worcester, Massachusetts.
The crash happened at about 8 a.m. in the area of 270 Grafton St.
Police said a 7-year-old girl and her 24-year-old uncle were trying to cross the road when they were somehow struck by a car.
Authorities said both victims were taken to an area hospital where they were treated for non-life threatening injuries.
Witnesses said the girl may have been on her way to school when the crash happened.
According to police, the car that struck the victims remained on the scene. It's unclear if that driver will be facing any charges.
