Chara Wants Brady at TD Garden for B's-Blue Jackets Series

Earlier this week, Tom Brady recruited Zdeno Chara to join him on the gridiron.

It appears the tables have turned.

Chara posted an Instagram hype video Thursday ahead of the Boston Bruins' second-round Stanley Cup Playoff series with the Columbus Blue Jackets that's awesome in its own right: The voice you hear in the background is UFC star Conor McGregor, who gave the B's this pep talk prior to their St. Patrick's Day game against the same Blue Jackets.

NEW SERIES.SAME ENERGY. WE ARE MADE FOR THIS!

Brady, who's been a huge Bruins supporter during their playoff run, quickly chimed in with a reply:

"Yes you are @zeechara33 @nhlbruins can't wait to watch #madeforthis"

Chara obviously appreciated the GOAT's interest, but the Bruins captain urged Brady to take things a step further. Here's his reply to the Patriots QB:

That's right: Chara wants Brady at TD Garden in person.

Brady's Super Bowl MVP teammate, Julian Edelman, waved the Bruins' honorary flag before Game 7 of the Toronto Maple Leafs series, and several Boston Celtics players and coaches also were in attendance.

With the stakes raised in the second round, we love that Chara wants Brady to show his face at TD Garden during the Bruins-Blue Jackets series, which begins Thursday night in Boston.

That said, don't get your hopes up; Brady hasn't attended another Boston sports game in quite some time, as he's been busy maintaining his 41-year-old physique and getting a full night's sleep.

Perhaps Chara's prompt will change TB12's mind?
