Zendo Asian Bistro & Lounge in Hingham Has Closed

An Asian fusion restaurant that was located in a waterfront development on the South Shore has shut down.

According to a source, Zendo Asian Bistro & Lounge within The Launch at Hingham Shipyard is no longer in business, with a Facebook post seeming to confirm that the place closed over the weekend, while a call placed to the dining spot indicates that the phone is now out of service. It is not known why Zendo closed, nor are there any indications on its website or Facebook page that it was planning to shutter; as soon as we find out more information, we will post an update here.

Zendo first opened in the fall of 2011, being a rebrand of Typhoon Asian Bistro which had been in the space for approximately a year.
