Florida Man Calls Sheriff's Office to Report Cocaine Theft

David Blackmon identified himself as a drug dealer, deputies say

A Florida man who identified himself as a drug dealer was arrested after he called authorities to report that a baggie of cocaine had been stolen from him, officials said.

David Blackmon, 32, is facing possession of cocaine, resisting arrest without violence and possession of drug paraphernalia charges after he called the Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office Sunday morning, authorities said.

Blackmon, of Fort Walton Beach, told a responding deputy that someone had entered his car and stolen $50 and a quarter-ounce of cocaine off the center console, sheriff's office officials said.

But when the deputy looked, he not only found cocaine in the car but also a crack pipe and a crack rock, officials said.
