Five people were shot after a man who allegedly crashed a Halloween party opened fire during an argument, San Antonio police said.
The gunman was wearing a Freddy Krueger mask when he opened fire with a shotgun just before 5 a.m. Sunday morning, police told NBC affiliate WOAI.
Police said Monday that no one has been arrested in the weekend gunfire. Sgt. Jesse Salame said investigators are trying to determine what prompted the dispute that broke out before dawn Sunday that left five people wounded.
Officials said four men and one woman were being treated for injuries not believed to be life-threatening.
Police said the gunfire broke out after two men allegedly not invited to the party showed up. Authorities believe one of the men got into an argument, pulled a gun and opened fire — then both men fled.
