Bruins Force Game 7 with Maple Leafs

For the second year in a row, the Boston Bruins and Toronto Maple Leafs are going the distance in the first round.

This time it's the Bruins forcing the decisive seventh game, following a 4-2 win in Toronto on Sunday afternoon.

After falling behind 1-0, Brad Marchand, Torey Krug and Jake DeBrusk scored the next three goals for the Bruins.

The Maple Leafs scored within the first five minutes of the third period on an Auston Matthews tally, but the Bruins were able to weather the storm until Marchand scored an empty netter with Frederik Andersen pulled with 1:54 left in regulation.

Tuukka Rask turned aside 22 of the 24 shots he faced for the Bruins.

Game 7 is Tuesday night in Boston at the TD Garden. The Bruins and Maple Leafs also played a first round series that went seven games in the spring of 2013, when Patrice Bergeron scored in overtime to propel Boston on a run to the Stanley Cup Final.
