The Boston Celtics escaped the Intuit Dome on Wednesday night with a dramatic overtime victory over the Los Angeles Clippers.
It was a back-and-forth affair between the two short-handed squads. The Celtics appeared to take control in the fourth quarter, but late-game miscues allowed the Clippers to force OT.
Boston sealed its victory with a barrage of 3-pointers in the extra period. Derrick White, Jayson Tatum, Jaylen Brown, and Jaden Springer each came up clutch in the final five minutes.
The Clippers lost despite shooting 52.2 percent from the floor. Derrick Jones Jr. scored a game-high 29 points while Brown led the C's with 25.
