Going for gold at the Tokyo Olympics hasn't kept Jayson Tatum from keeping an eye on what the Boston Celtics are up to this offseason.

With Team USA set to take on Serbia in the tournament semifinals early Friday morning, Tatum was asked by NBC10 Boston's Audrey Asistio for his thoughts on what's transpired across the NBA since free agency began earlier this week.

"Lot of moves being made right now," Tatum said. "I'm just 6,000 miles away watching it through my phone, seeing what happens."

Tatum was also asked about his relationship with Brad Stevens, who made the jump from head coach to President of Basketball Operations earlier in the summer.

Celtics star Jayson Tatum and Team USA will be shooting for the gold medal against France at the Tokyo Olympics.

"We good," Tatum said, smiling.

The Celtics have been among the quietest teams in the league at the beginning of free agency, executing only a few minor deals to tinker with the bench thus far.

Tatum, set to enter his fifth NBA season, has been an All-Star in each of the last two seasons. Along with Jaylen Brown, who'll be entering his sixth season, Tatum is one of the team's foundational pieces heading into the Ime Udoka era.
