The Best Tom Brady Memes on Social Media Over the Years

Highlighting the best Tom Brady memes on social media originally appeared on NBC Sports Boston

Not every professional athlete is an entertaining follow on social media, but there's no denying Tom Brady's outstanding presence.

Brady -- and/or whoever runs his accounts -- has done a great job of using social media to share some hilarious and rather unique posts. Whether he's trading barbs with other athletes, poking fun at himself, or posting one of his famous "W" videos after a victory, the ex-New England Patriots quarterback sure knows how to get people talking on the internet.

As we await Brady's return to Foxboro as a member of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, here's a look back at some of Brady's best social media posts and memes through the years.

Tom Brady vs. Drew Brees on The History Channel

A Twitter user joked Brady vs. Brees should be aired on The History Channel, and the then-43-year-old QB took it in stride. He posted a hilarious photoshop of himself and Brees as elderly quarterbacks on a fake History Channel promo of the matchup. A+ stuff.

Firing back at Tony Dungy

After former Indianapolis Colts head coach Tony Dungy put Brady sixth on his "toughest QBs to face" list, Brady had to respond. The infamous 2014 AFC Finalist banner always does the trick.

Firing back at Michael Strahan

Strahan and the Giants will always have bragging rights as they handed Brady two Super Bowl losses and ended what would have been a perfect 19-0 season in 2007. Still, Brady had a solid comeback in an exchange with Strahan as the former Giants linebacker retired 14 years ago and the Bucs QB is still in the midst of his 21st NFL season.

Welcoming Eli Manning to social media

Former Giants QB Eli Manning finally joined Twitter in 2020. Brady welcomed him aboard in hilarious fashion, saying Manning "never showed up until the fourth quarter anyway." Manning, of course, led two late Super Bowl-winning drives vs. Brady and the Patriots.

Wardrobe malfunction

Brady ripped his pants during "The Match" and the image instantly went viral on social media. The seven-time Super Bowl champ rolled with the punches and acknowledged the hilarious moment with some self-deprecation.

Why not seven?

Kansas City Chiefs wideout Tyreek Hill turned heads after he said his team was "chasing Michael Jordan" and looking to get seven championship rings. Brady's response was a perfect one as the then-six-time Super Bowl champ wrote, "Totally agree. Why not go 7 rings?"

Of course, Brady went on to win his seventh Super Bowl title.

The courtroom sketch

One of the most viral Brady moments came in 2015 when his courtroom sketch during the Deflategate saga took over the internet. The sketch was so bad it has been a punchline on social media to this day. Brady recently referenced it when comparing how his first video game appearance looked compared to now.

Bad Boys For Life

Tom Brady and Rob Gronkowski posted an iconic video after helping the Patriots to an AFC Championship in 2019. The duo didn't even need to say a word, they just shrugged at the camera while "Bad Boy For Life" by P. Diddy played in the background. They recreated the video after helping the Bucs to the Super Bowl last season.

The Jugs machine

Brady had some gullible people on the internet extremely confused when he posted this mind-blowing video during this past offseason. The legendary QB showed off his accuracy by playing catch with the Jugs machine.

In case you're still unaware, the video is very fake. Still, that doesn't stop it from being another brilliant post from Brady's social media team.

High-five fails

Brady has not had a ton of luck with high-fives over the years. He's been left hanging by teammates on the sideline on multiple occasions and a ref turned down his high-five attempt last season. Brady acknowledged his high-five failures with a funny post after that game.

The G.O.A.T.

Not a Tom Brady post, but still relevant. It's hard to argue against Brady being the greatest quarterback in NFL history, and the photoshop of a goat's head on Brady's body is a reminder of his status as the G.O.A.T.
