The Red Sox will open the postseason in Cleveland, Thursday at 8:08 p.m.

Now that all the Big Papi regular season retirement tributes are winding down, it's time for David Ortiz to make his curtain call in the form of the 2016 postseason.

Ortiz and the Red Sox will face the Cleveland Indians in the ALDS, starting Thursday at 8:08 p.m. in Cleveland. Game 2 is Oct. 7 at 4:38 p.m. in Cleveland and the series moves to Boston on Oct. 9 for a 4:08 p.m. game. If necessary, game 4 will be Oct. 10 in Boston and game 5 on Oct. 12 in Cleveland.

During the regular season the Red Sox were 4-2 against the Indians, outscoring them 31-18.

Ortiz, a clutch postseason hitter with 17 home runs and 60 RBI in 82 games, will be looking to make a fourth World Series championship with the Red Sox the final act of his career.
