Boat capsize

A party boat in Texas capsized during a strong thunderstorm, leaving one person dead, according to officials.

The U.S. Coast Guard has suspended its search for 10 Cuban migrants who went missing in the water approximately 16 miles south of Key West last week.

At least three people have died and more than two dozen people were rescued from the water off the coast of Point Loma Sunday after a packed boat being used in a suspected human smuggling operation capsized and broke apart in powerful surf, according to authorities.

The search for survivors from a capsized lift boat in the Gulf of Mexico has closed and attention now turns to comforting the loved ones of the five known dead and eight missing, a grim hunt for bodies and a painstaking investigation that could take up to two years.
