Community Upset About Cambridge Carnival's Cancellation
Community members gathered Wednesday evening in Cambridge, Massachusetts, to voice their frustrations after a popular annnual event was abruptly cancelled. Organizers of the Cambridge Carnival International and city officials said in a joint statement that the Sept. 8 event was called off due in part to the gun violence that erupted near Boston’s Caribbean Carnival Parade last weekend.

Police Arrest 2 Men Connected to Dorchester Shooting
Police have arrested two men in connection to an overnight shooting in Dorchester Saturday. Atunbi Bryan, 27, of Brockton and Michael Warner, 34, of Hyde Park were arrested around 8:30 a.m. Saturday in the area of 15 Talbot Avenue.

1 Man Killed, 3 Others Shot in 4 Separate Shootings in Boston's Dorchester Neighborhood
One person died and three others were injured in four separate shootings overnight in Dorchester, Boston police confirm. The fatal shooting happened around 3:40 a.m. on Westview Way, which was blocked off for several hours as police investigated on scene. The victim, who has not been identified, was taken to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries and later died.
